1 Information We Collect
When you register and use FLCS, we collect the following types of information:

2 Public vs. Private Data
Important: Any information you choose to display on your public profile — including your name, skills, profile title, city, WhatsApp number, social media links, and portfolio — is accessible to anyone who visits FLCS, including visitors who are not logged in.
You are in control of what you share publicly. We strongly recommend:
- Only publishing contact details you are comfortable sharing publicly
- Being mindful that public profile data can be indexed by search engines
- Not publishing sensitive personal information (ID numbers, bank details, home address, etc.)
Private data (your email address used for login, password) is never shown publicly on the platform.
3 Cookies & Session Data
FLCS uses cookies and server-side sessions to provide core platform functionality. Here is what we store:
- Session Cookies: Used to keep you logged in during your visit. These expire when you close your browser or log out.
- Remember Me Cookie: If you select "Remember me", a secure authentication token is stored on your device for up to 30 days to keep you logged in. This token is cryptographically secure and stored in our database.
- Analytics Cookies: We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand how visitors use our platform. This data is anonymized and used only to improve the platform.
We do not use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites.
4 How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account on the platform
- To display your profile to other users and search engines
- To send you account-related notifications (account approval, job alerts if subscribed)
- To improve the platform, fix bugs, and understand usage patterns
- To enforce our Terms of Use and maintain platform safety
We do not use your data for:
- Selling to third-party advertisers or data brokers
- Behavioral advertising
- Automated profiling or decision-making that affects you
5 Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with any third party.
The only exceptions are:
- Public profile data: Information you display on your public profile is, by nature, visible to all visitors.
- Legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or government authority in Pakistan, we may disclose data as legally required.
- Safety: In cases of harassment, fraud, or illegal activity, we may share relevant information with law enforcement authorities.
6 Third-Party Services
FLCS integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics – anonymous usage statistics (Google Privacy Policy)
- WhatsApp / Facebook / YouTube – social links on profiles (external platforms; subject to their own policies)
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external services.
7 Data Security
- All passwords are stored as bcrypt hashed values — we cannot read your password.
- Our platform runs on HTTPS — all data is encrypted in transit.
- Remember-me tokens are cryptographically generated and stored securely.
- Despite our best efforts, no platform is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
8 Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information by editing your profile
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
- Withdraw consent for optional data (e.g., remove profile photo, clear social links)

9 Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
10 Children's Privacy
FLCS is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will delete their account.
11 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of FLCS after changes constitutes your acceptance.
